A dog day .....

2012 in Ohio has come in most mild.  We enjoyed 47* weather for a couple days, and then she showed her a$$ with some 15* degree days thrown in!  Don't like the weather in Ohio, just close your eyes, it's going to change in a few minutes!  LOL

Here at the Harney house mamma and puppies decided to take definite advantage of the lovely weather.  Sihngin, Samson and myself made a brisk trek around the local area.  First out with Samson heading east.  It
was a toss up which way at first but I let Mr. Samson take the lead and we went the regular route past the Elementary school, park and back home.  Samson seems to enjoy crossing over the east bridge and past the old Burch dam.  You can see no snow, leave less trees and due to the rain we've had in abundance the water was up and running!

We returned home after a wet and cold 1/2 hr because it started sleeting on us and I had left my hat at home!  Silly mamma!  Sihngin made sure I didn't forget it was her turn and so armed with a hat and warmer gloves we were off the other direction past the Northwest bridge and to the other park.

She seemed to think I was too slow and I got alot of the evil eye starting out.  She perked up once we crossed the bridge to the park.  The water had receded somewhat but was still swift for this little part of the crick, (yes, I come from country people and say crick!)

We stopped at all her favorite spots, she especially likes crossing the park bridge.  I think more because that's were we usually stop and let her off leash.  She's really a good girl and can be trusted off leash in the park. In fact we stayed off leash all the way home after some dog fun while we were there.

Just on the side of the bridge we found evidence of natures wonders.  Usually you don't see red berries until spring.  I'm not sure if it was because of the warm weather or if this is typical of this particular plant.  I do know these are NOT eating berries!

Well all in all we spent a bit longer out than Samson and I did, but both pup's were very happy for out time out and can't wait till it's a nice day again for more of the same!
